Research and Development are the pillars on which all the companies of the El.En. Group base their growth: technological innovation, continuous training and know-how sharing are the key words that unite them. ASA also embraces these principles and, in the context of its expansion strategy, shares with El.En. a common vision that not only promotes collaboration and mutual fusion but stimulates interaction between resources to give shape to structured projects.
An example is the recent meeting held at ASA between the front line of R&D of the Florentine group and that of the Vicenza-based company: the two teams in fact held an all-around mutual discussion, sharing updates, development ideas and technological trajectories. The objective is clear: to define new plans and methods that are functional to maintaining their competitive positions on the market and, at the same time, to define other penetration channels by optimising the resources available.
However, this is not the first case of synergic work between the parent company and ASA, as is confirmed by the development of one of its leading therapies: Hilterapia®. This therapeutic solution is in fact the result of the intuition of Prof Masotti, founding partner of El.En., later confirmed by Research, which gave rise to the patent underlying the Nd:YAG laser technology, brought to the market, spread through the medical field and subsequently disseminated throughout the world thanks to ASA and its devices, today HIRO and HIRO TT.
The key role of cooperation between the two entities is highlighted by Eng. Damiano Guidolin, General Manager of ASA:
