Principles of laser therapy and a specific focus on Hilterapia®, but also a practical session centred on treating acute muscle pain, acute and chronic tendinous pain, arthritis and acute pain with joint trauma: these were the basic topics of the course held by ASA staff at the Training Centre of Prim, our Spanish partner, in Madrid on 4th and 5th April.
The meeting also emphasised the possibility of combining Hilterapia® with Tcare® diathermy.
“The workshop, addressing physiotherapists, achieved positive results confirmed not only by participants’ interest during the theoretical stage, but also by their active participation during the practical session, where they were called upon to act both in order to apply the therapy directly and as patients. An important double role which enabled them to understand the real benefits of applying the two therapies to the same issue with different times and methods”, explains Roberto Terruzzi, ASA’s Senior Export Area Manager.
A similar assessment was made by Mara Mezzalira, ASA physiotherapist and trainer, who also stresses how “Spanish physiotherapists are now taking their first steps in the world of HILT® Laser Therapy and curiosity always wins out. Not only did our course explain what it consists of and how it works, but most of all it detailed the uniqueness of Hilterapia® in order to highlight its specific value and effectiveness, particularly in the field of sports”.
